Janine has created and developed her work with Sam Raimi, Debbie Liebling, Marcy Ross at Skydance Television, Scott Morgan and Bryan Unkless at Screen Arcade, Nina Tassler at CBS, Sophia Vergara’s Latin World America and Ellen Pompeo’s Calamity Jane Productions, meeting with Showtime, HBO, ABC, NBC, FX, Freeform, and Paramount. She is a two-time Finalist for ScreenCraft’s Drama and Comedy Pilot Competitions. Her plays have been performed, developed and selected for and by the Ground & Field Play Festival, SF Playwright's Foundation, Bike City Theatre Company, ScreenCraft Stage Play Competition, B Street Theatre’s New Comedies Festival, B Street Theatre’s New Play Series, The Magic Theatre SF, NYC Playground Experiment’s Faces of America Kraine Theatre in NYC. While earning her M.F.A. in Dramatic Writing at N.Y.U. Tisch, Janine’s work was selected for the Festival of New Works, N.Y.U. Playfest, and the Open Arts Film Festival.

Janine was an Advertising Executive and VP at a medical device company and a Flight Attendant for Virgin America before becoming a professional writer. Janine founded and oversees a writer's group comprised of fellow Screencraft Finalists and is a Mentor through the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Mentorship Program. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband Mac, daughter Harper and dog Billie.
